Hotel vicino a Dansbury Park - East Stroudsburg

“Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Our room was "City view" and it was a bit loud but they give ear plugs. I would recommend a portable fan or white noise to help. It didn't effect our sleep. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and went hiking. Ricketts Glen State Park and Falls were 1 hour 20 minutes away and well worth the travel there and back for a great day trip. The falls were amazing! “When we walked in, the top bedspread for one of the beds had blood stains. The carpet was fully stained, and so were the lampshades. The bathroom countertop was still dirty as well. Overall, one of the worst cleaned rooms I’ve stayed in at a Hampton Inn. There was also no body wash in the bathroom. However the worst part of the stay was that the whole room smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking property. Many of the reviews complained of the same, but the smell lingered all...

“Hotel had an eerie horror movie vibe. The rooms floor was sticky and filthy. We spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the towel was black. The entire hotel smelled like smoke, we had a non-smoking room but the smell was very strong. Bathroom did not look clean, tub was slow to drain. Would not recommend staying here”

“Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...

“I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay”

“Lovely setting and history of the inn and golf course was interesting . Really came to golf and was not disappointed. Course was very well maintained and fun to play. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Enjoyed the jazz on Tuesday outside and the brewery pizza was yummy. Our meal at the Inn’s restaurant was fabulous! I had trout and it was perfect. Calimari was best I ever had. New chef is very inventive. Only negative is there were ants in our room and the place needs a bit of paint here...
