Also, hallways need brighter lighting and carpeting. (who chose that carpet??) The combination of low light and dark carpet made stairways treacherous. Ice machines were not operating. “Checking in was fast. Staff were professional and pleasant. Clean overall. However our room had a broken curtain rod and the curtain was stained. Air conditioner was very loud making it difficult to sleep throughout the night. I believe this property is non-smoking, but there were people outside the main entrance smoking. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter a non-smoking building….I didn’t appreciate that as a non-smoker. No breakfast at this motel.”

“We stayed one night. The check in and out staff were friendly. Our room was super clean. We ate at the lounge for supper. It was delicious. Our waiter was super friendly too. There was a ton of breakfast choices too. Make your own waffles. Bagels, eggs, potatoes, donuts, cinnamon rolls, cereal, juices and coffee.”

“The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help.”

“They didn’t clean our room properly (no hand towels) and when we called downstairs to ask for some they told us someone would be coming right up but no one ever came. The food menu in our room was the one from last fall, so it was useless. The food choices are very limited and of course quite expensive ($22 for Caesar salad). However the pool was gorgeous and we enjoyed it and the fire pit and all the outside seating. The exercise room was a little sparse but good enough for one person....
