“The beds were comfortable, the managers were very friendly and the village is lovely. It's not a fancy place, and breakfast options are simple English breakfast fare, but overall this is a gem of a place if you're hiking or exploring Peak District, especially if you need parking. We appreciated the family room option with a bunk bed for the kids and double for the adults. Note, this is not a good option for persons with mobility issues (stairs).”

“Great people, nice food and service, shower blocked by hair mass I sorted, room good, bed comfy, slightly dated decor but owners are new and dealing with decor. Overall a good stay.would go back happily. ”

“Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay.
The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays.
The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions

“I thought I saw 3 beds for my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids when I booked, surprisingly 4 met beds. I requested for an hour extended stay, when I ask for how much I should pay, they said I don’t need to pay.”

“A repeat visit for us. The hot spring is excellent (even though the main indoor pool was a hotter than the super-nice temperature on previous occasions), breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable (although aircon was not working well this time and one had to sleep with open windows, it was reasonably quiet), convenient parking nearby”

“The main thermal pool in the basement was unfortunately too hot during this particular visit. We've stayed several times before; this was the first time the water was uncomfortably hot (there could have been a on-off problem with the heat regulation valve). Our room at the corner of the building was quiet, well air-conditioned and comfortable. The breakfast was decent but they ran out of croissants and other pastries pretty early on and failed to replenish the tray. I don't see why they couldn't...

“Probabilmente uno dei migliori posti in Buxton per soggiorni di breve-medio periodo.
A Buxton é difficile trovare un hotel che abbia un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Non si tratta propriamente di un hotel, ma sono delle stanze al di sopra di un pub, quindi non avrete una hall o uno spazio relax: ma la buona notizia è che potrete rilassarvi direttamente nel loro beer garden.
Le stanze sono piccoline, moderne ed in ottimo stato e ben pulite.
