“Character property in the heart of Buxton. We arrived very late (after midnight) and the Night team at the hotel were exceptional. They couldn't have been more helpful in moving luggage and assisting check in while my wife tried to keep our baby asleep. Good breakfast in the morning. Well appointed room.”

“Fabulous setting and surroundings, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the burgers from the evening menu and that is the only that spoilt the stay, they were extremely processed. All the rest of the food was great.”

“The standard double room was much smaller than expected, and the bed was two singles pushed together with a thin double topper, which made the bed very uncomfortable and lumpy. We told reception after the first night and they arranged for a better topper to be put on. If the standard double was this small then the small double must have been tiny. The bathroom was a good size though. Rooms are only cleaned if specifically requested at reception the night before. This wasn't made clear - there...

“Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.”
