Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach our island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

When you arrive at BEACHIN IT! in beautiful Melrose Cottage Association you'll feel the world slip away. This 6 Bedroom, 6 Bath, professional decorated and well appointed cottage will be your home away from home with every need met during your stay. Sleeps 20 with TWO FULL kitchens! Ready for your family or friend getaway. Screen porches, gas grills, outdoor showers, and on the ocean! all waiting for you.

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious with TWO living/dining/kitchen areas that are great for family and friend time. The cottage includes Cable TV and flat screen TVs in the living room and bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchens are fully equipped with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays!

TWO laundry rooms with full size washer and dryer make island life more convenient and comfortable.

A golf cart is also included with your booking. Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, groceries, coolers, etc.

Daufuskie 4th

What a fantastic house for our group of 15 Adults. The 2 kitchens are located next to each other which made it Easy to cook our theme menus every night. Spacious dens and screened in porches were great for gathering and playing games. View and location to beach is wonderful and we loved the access to the community pool. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Beautiful House, Beautiful Island

We have a wonderful time at Daufuskie Island. This ocean front house was wonderful - clean and very spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The host was easy to communicate with and very prompt. We enjoyed riding golf carts and bikes around this gorgeous island.

An excellent property for a large group

We are an extended family of 14, and preferred a house as opposed to multiple condos. This one fit our needs perfectly, with two distinct sides that could be separated if needed. The location was right on the ocean, and afforded beautiful views. The renters were very active in addressing our questions and few concerns. We enjoyed out stay very much.

Summer Fun

Great location, was very close to Melrose Beach! The view from beach house was amazing. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The rooms and kitchens itself are very spacious and modern. We wish we would have been notified about the cockroach problem. We’re not sure if it’s an island or house problem because both of our beach houses rented from two different rental companies had this problem. We had to inspect every bag before departing the island because we found them in all rooms. Also, we were not informed that the pool was bought out and closed from use.

Great place to stay, only problem was they advertised short walk to pool but there was no pool-didn’t really need it since the Ocean was a few steps away. Home was perfect, had everything we needed.
