Unit 017: Welcome to The Sand House (formerly known as The Morris House), your ideal retreat on Dauphin Island! This Gulf-view haven has undergone a recent and complete transformation, boasting a fresh look with new paint inside and out, updated decor, flooring, decking, roof, appliances, new living room furniture, and even a new mattress in the master bedroom. This carefully curated and rejuvenated space ensures a delightful stay for up to 12 guests, making it perfect for two families seeking a stylish yet family-friendly vacation home.

As you ascend the steps to the entrance, a spacious covered front deck welcomes you with a full-size bed porch swing, setting the tone for relaxation. The deck extends around the side, providing a sunning deck and additional covered space with a picnic table, inviting you to savor meals with a breathtaking view. Step inside to discover a light and airy beach eclectic gathering area with hardwood-reminiscent LVP flooring.

The kitchen and dining area comfortably seat 8, complemented by 4 stools at the granite breakfast bar. The master bedroom suite, strategically positioned for Gulf-side cool breezes and the soothing sound of the surf, features both a king bed and a trundle bed for the little ones. The private bath boasts a spacious, tiled shower with stone accents.

A centrally accessible hallway leads to three more bedrooms and a full bath with a shower/tub combo. The 2nd bedroom offers a spacious king bed and a TV, while the 3rd bedroom embraces a nautical theme with a full bed and twin over twin bunk bed, complete with its own TV. The 4th bedroom exudes freshness and brightness, featuring a full bed and TV. The 5th bedroom, also serving as a rumpus room, extends the options for relaxation. It provides a private sitting area or kid zone with a TV, a twin over twin bunk bed, and a convenient half bath.

Extras abound in The Sand House, including a lending library, toys for younger children, and a growing collection of family games and puzzles, alongside beach accessories. Situated just four lots away from the Gulf waterline, this vacation rental provides an accommodating and uncluttered haven close to shops and restaurants.
