“Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“I stayed here, but there was no lantern or scissors provided, and the lantern in my friend’s unit was broken too. So I asked for a replacement, but I was told there wasn’t one available and to just deal with it. I asked them to help resolve the issue, but all they said was to talk to the manager in the morning. I think that is very poor customer service.”

“The first room had bugs and dead bugs all over the room. Bathroom had a spider on the ceiling and smelt musty. Second room was a bit cleaner but the shower curtain was dirty along with the shower floor. Blinds and curtain didn’t fully cover for privacy”

This place is worst than a dive, no proper check in procedures, note on the door says to call ABC person who then would contact XYZ (allowed me to check in an hour early). “Just be aware if you travel with a pet… I wasn’t aware ahead of time, but there is a $75 charge for the pet. We were meeting an adopter of a foster dog and were in the room for 7 hours. She slept on the tile on a dog bed, no mess at all and we had to pay an extra $75.”

“The 'breakfast included" was a few slices of bread, pre-packaged coffee cake, cereal and milk and OJ. I was nervous about trying the milk and OJ after seeing the setup.”

“Pain room great air conditioner. The pool was fantastic and stuff were well to work with they pushed hard to try to get me another night with health issues The manager was really kind and the food was fantastic out of a 10 out of 10 I give this property a 10”

“The staff was a highlight of my stay. Anytime I needed a comforter, towels or had questions they were quick and attentive. The problem started with the elevators. I want to say despite what I am about to list I would stay at another springhill. One elevator had a bad smell and both shuddered when stopping on each floor. The sheet in my room was stained with red. The bathroom wall was bowing and coming apart. Turning the water on involved lifting the handle and crashing it into the mirror. When...

“This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”
