Questa casa di 120 anni completamente rinnovata si trova a pochi minuti dal centro di Cincinnati ed è adiacente alla pittoresca cittadina di Bellevue Kentucky e alla zona di intrattenimento di Newport sulla Levy. Avrai facile accesso a tutto ciò che l'area di Cincinnati ha da offrire e potrai raggiungere gli stadi e la maggior parte delle altre attrazioni del centro in 10-15 minuti! Ci sono un sacco di Uber, Lyfts e navette nella zona per un facile accesso al centro e alle attrazioni circostanti. Andando verso Paul Brown o Great American Ball Park? Queen City Riverboats fornisce navette per tutte le partite casalinghe di Reds e Bengals da Newport, Kentucky (a 5 minuti di auto dalla casa) fino agli sbarchi sul fiume attraverso il fiume fino agli stadi di Cincinnati.
La casa è affettuosamente chiamata la Balena Grigia perché è "grande come una balena"! E 'splendidamente decorato e ha due salotti, due sunrooms, due cucine, sei ampie camere da letto, tre bagni, una sala da pranzo, una sala da biliardo e una sala giochi al terzo piano con shuffleboard e tre futon. È molto comodo per un grande gruppo o più famiglie! Ci sono rifiniti pavimenti in legno in tutto, 10 piedi + soffitti, tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici, tutti i nuovi impianti idraulici e tutti i nuovi HVAC.

Il piano principale ha:
-Camera 1: un letto matrimoniale
-Camera 2: 2 letti queen size
- Ampio soggiorno con divano letto queen-size
-Sunroom
-Grande sala da pranzo
-Cucina completamente attrezzata
-Bagno 1: bagno completo con 60 "vanità e vasca / doccia

Il 2 ° piano ha:

-Camera 4: 1 letto matrimoniale
- Ampio soggiorno
-Salotto con accesso a una veranda coperta
- sala biliardo
-Cucina completamente attrezzata
-Bagno 2: bagno completo con vasca / doccia

-Un materasso ad aria sorprendentemente confortevole

Il terzo piano ha:
-Bedroom 5: 2 letti matrimoniali
-Camera 6: 2 letti singoli
- una sala giochi con un tavolo da shuffleboard da 14 pollici
-Ci sono anche tre futon per più opzioni di dormire.


Potrai anche goderti un bel cortile recintato con un patio esterno, grill a gas e un pozzo del fuoco a propano. Per la vostra comodità c'è una lavatrice e asciugatrice nel seminterrato.
Siamo vicino a una ferrovia, quindi a volte sentirai il rombo di un treno che passa.

Siamo situati in un quartiere emergente con un mix di giovani professionisti e persone della classe lavoratrice. Questa non è la periferia, ma è un quartiere residenziale urbano sicuro a 3 miglia dal centro di Cincinnati. I nostri co-conduttori Adam e Tara vivono a un isolato di distanza e amano la posizione e possono dare ottimi consigli locali.

The house is big. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 7 kids. Although it is an older house, it was clean. Although we saw some reviews questioning the location, it seems like a nice established neighborhood. We would definitely consider rebooking this house if we're ever in the Cincinnati area again.

Celebration of the life of our brother

Even though the reason for being together was not the happiest, the host made it brighter. They allowed more than the reserved amount a little time to gather, share stories and just be together after attending services for our brother. I appreciated that so much. I would definitely stay there again. First time in that particular location but it was perfect.

Ladies weekend

We had a great stay for a ladies weekend to explore Cincinnati and attend the Kentucky derby! Plenty of space and a bed for everyone. Would definitely return. Cutest coffee shop around the corner!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

This property worked great for our side of my family (15 of us) to be near my brother’s family(19). We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner together in their homes and host a few get togethers at the Grey Whale. The house was spacious, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the local shopping and restaurants plus the nearby ferry ride to a Steelers/Bengals game!

family get together

Great for multi family groups, we were able to spread out and have some quiet spaces. The house is well equipped with bath and kitchen items and suggestions from the hosts. Only minus--the grill is pretty rusted out , probably needs to be replaced.

We loved the arrangement of living quarters and the room for plenty to choose where to sleep. However, for older groups, you may want to consider adding more lighting at the stairs. We had two instances where a couple of people almost fell because they couldn't see where the steps met the landing. The house was VERY clean, and the managers were quick to respond when we had a problem. We would stay at the Gray Whale again if the opportunity arises!

Family celebration

This is a great property to host a large group. Multiple gathering spaces on two floors, two fully equipped kitchens, ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Hosts very responsive and accommodating to special requests. The location is great, easy access to interstate and 10 minutes or less from locations in Cinncinnati or Northern Kentucky

Great for Groups

A group of us were in town for NCECA, the annual ceramic conference. The Gray Whale was perfect for our group. We used the downstairs for our communal space and the upstairs for quieter conversations. The location was only three miles from the convention center and has several restaurants and businesses nearby. We all agreed we would definitely book this accommodation again if we were to find ourselves back in Cincinnati in the future.

Fantastic stay for large group

We used this location as one of two properties for bringing a large group down to northern Kentucky for 2-3 days of activities and couldn't have been happier. The home lived up to our expectations and our communications with the host were by far the best I've experienced with VRBO. I can't say enough what a help the hosts were and would recommend them and their properties to anyone! If you're in the Cincy/N Kentucky area and need a space for a group or large family gathering, you'll find this will fit the bill!

It served the purpose

This house served the purpose with plenty of places to lay your head, counting couches, but not nearly enough bathrooms. Also not enough eating seating. I thought it would be closer to the city and Blink but it was too far to walk. Didn’t know that until way after we paid for it.

Perfect Home for the Whole Family!

Our Daughters wedding was in Northern Kentucky band the Gray Whale was the perfect home for our four adult children plus spouses and significant others and of course our four grandbabies! The house was absolutely perfect for us!
