“This is an amazing find, I would describe it as a hidden gem, the decor and design is just decadent and really well done.

“Wij waren hier voor één nacht. Prima hotel voor die prijs. Fijne bedden, er was ook een bad. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Mooie lokatie. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterkant (met balkon), dus geen last gehad van de weg die ervoor loopt. Het interieur was wat sleets, maar dat vinden wij niet het belangrijkste.
Als we weer eens in de buurt zijn, gaan we er zeker nog eens heen.”

They said that a mail has been sent but unfortunately I never received that mail. It is true that they tried to contact me via mobile but as my flight was delayed my phone was switched of as I was flying to Holland. So I did not receive any message.
I arrived in front of the hotel...the dorr was open but no light, no service, no reception...nobody. I've tried to call the number of the hotel as I was aspecting at least...

“Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified.”
