“I've stayed at the LaQuinta, Stamford at least once a year over the past 7 years or so. The Staff are always friendly and polite, but they are under great stress due to the ongoing refurbishing, which has been going on for at least 4 years and is now really causing a very unsightly facility. Seven years ago there was courtesy coffee in the reception area, this stopped about 2 - 3 years ago. Now there was no coffee in the breakfast room on at least one of the four days I stayed. “Great room, comfy bed, powerful water pressure in the shower.”

“The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be.”

“Struttura elegante e confortevole, bellissima la location . Il gradimento sarebbe stato più alto se l'accoglienza fosse stata all'altezza. Purtroppo non è stato così perchè alcuni membri del personale della reception erano decisamente scortesi e poco disponibili nei nostri confronti ( nemmeno rispondevano al saluto che comunque per educazione noi abbiamo sempre fatto ...). Ci dispiace perchè per tutto il resto abbiamo apprezzato la struttura. ”

“NOBODY GO TO THAT PLACE—A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE. NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE A FRIDGE. I ASKED FOR A NON-SMOKING ROOM, BUT ALL THE ROOMS SMELL LIKE CIGARETTES. THE BED WAS BAD, AND THE AIR CONDITIONING DIDN'T WORK. NO, NO, NO—I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY DON'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS IN PERSON, ONLY CASH. DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE. Don't forget to lock your car doors.”
