“Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought...

“We had a wonderful stay in Thomaston, Maine! The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook some great family meals during our trip. One of our favorite nights was cozying up together for a scary movie night—it felt just like home. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep for everyone. Having laundry on-site was such a convenient and appreciated accommodation. Overall, a perfect place for a relaxing family getaway!”

“My kids and I absolutely loved our stay. Everything was so nice and comfortable. My only teeny tiny complaint was that the hot tub was a little yucky in daylight, with a ring around the top and a bit of hair in the foam. My kids did not care though!! All around, lovely stay.”

“This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!”

“This is such a unique property. The attitude and helpfulness of all the staff and the owners makes you feel like you have known them forever. The main house is open 24 hours for access to a full kitchen, living room, sitting room, office setup, laundry room and hot tub. There are snacks for guests (and their pups) out all the time, and a great fire pit with wood and fire starters which we used both nights of our stay. Property is an older site but insides are immaculate and cozily decorated.”
