“I thought I was booking a room at the historic McMenamin's Gearhart Hotel. Our room ended up being in the annex next door. I asked if I clicked to choose the annex accidentally and was told that they randomly book folks into there. I should have called to specify. Oh, I didn't know. Next time.”

The property was very well maintained and had a great variety of amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. “Great experience. Love all the small touches like the flavored water, free breakfast, and cookies. Location is easy to walk to everything. Pool/hot tub nice for the kids. This was one of my favorite stays. Spring for the river view room. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the wild life.”

“Overrated ! The rooms are very dark, smell very musty. The shower was very dirty and covered in black mold and mildew . The pool is also very small and in a cage . The only thing going for this place is the location otherwise it’s a very old building that has been poorly renovated years ago . Not a boutique hotel !!”
