Townhouse Walk To Beach con AC

Goditi la vita al mare al suo meglio. Cammina fino alle spiagge di Nantucket Sound a solo mezzo miglio lungo la strada (Sea Street o Glendon Beach), gioca a mini golf e poi rilassati al Sand Dollar Bar & Grill o Chapins Fish & Chips - a soli due isolati di distanza (stagionale). Un sacco di altri ristoranti sono aperti tutto l'anno (Oyster Company, Red Nun, Red Cottage). Goditi le tue vacanze estive a Mid-Cape in un ambiente confortevole e pulito con aria condizionata (sistema mini split). La residenza è in un piccolo complesso condominiale di sole 6 unità (tre edifici duplex). La cucina fornisce spezie ed erbe base. C'è un letto matrimoniale in una delle camere da letto e due gemelli nell'altra. Le camere da letto e il bagno sono al secondo piano. Lenzuola e asciugamani saranno forniti su richiesta. Unità a prova di bambino con serrature su mobili da cucina e cancelletto per bambini tra i piani; sono disponibili pacchi e giochi e giocattoli. Il cortile sul retro e il ponte sono perfetti per grigliare e rilassarsi dopo una calda giornata in spiaggia. Check-in alle ore 15:00 di sabato e alle 17:00 nei giorni feriali, salvo accordi diversi. Il check-out è entro le 11:00. Il numero massimo di occupanti è 5. Sono disponibili solo due posti auto. I cani ben educati fino a 35 libbre sono ammessi con il permesso avanzato.

The place was perfect for a family of 4 with a dog. Communication with the host was timely, less than 24 hours of a response. Nice location and a great beach in walking distance, or a short drive. My only suggestion would be to bring your own cooking knives and utensils if planning making your own meals. With that said, the place was clean and well stocked with necessities for eating and cleaning.

Tired but functional

The location was great — walking distance to the beach. The shower has a funky look to it with sliding glass doors and a flowered shower curtain, but it worked nicely. Bed was okay. Kitchen was packed with stuff, (old dishes, pans, and spices) not at all organized. No dishwasher. Washer/dryer was nice to have. Living room was functional but not comfortable. Furniture is old — chair too stiff and straight, and the couch, old and overused. In spite of the oddities, we enjoyed our time. Hosts were friendly and responsive. The place could be very nice with a little work and freshened up kitchen and living room.

needs work

I have hesitated to post this review because I wanted to find the right words to describe this experience. This property is probably used by the family. It is overloaded with mismatched items, a bathroom that needs cleaning and painting, too many personal items. The furniture is uncomfortable, the bed needs a mattress pad, the shower curtain is not necessary since there is a glass sliding door. The pots and pans were old and unusable. I went out a bought a new pan for our food. The deck is cluttered with dirty, mismatched chairs and beach equipment. If the owners want to rent this out, they should equip the unit with matching dishes, newer pots and pans, remove most of the personal items and make room in the cupboards for renters to place their items. We have rented condos and vacation rentals for over 20 years. This was by far the worst experience we have had.

Wonderful pet friendly stay

Windfall Townhouse was a very cozy and comfortable place for us during our stay in Cape Cod. It is well supplied with everything you need. for cooking, there was a wide variety of spices to choose from. It is also in a centralized area where either end of the cape is within easy driving distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay with a personal touch.

Nice outdoor deck and fenced in yard so we didn't worry about our dog. Didn't use the grill but it was large. Accommodations show some wear but beds are comfortable and shower was powerful. Air conditioners worked well, washer/dryer was large and modern. House was spotless when we arrived and decorated with nice personal touches. Easy walk to beach (otherwise town charges $30 to park) put put golf, ice cream, deli/grocery and Woolfies for muffins. Michaela was always available by phone and accommodated our request to come early. We found Dennisport to be a very convenient location for a half week summer stay and the house was a good choice for us with a dog and our son with wife and infant. They appreciated having a full kitchen and bath tub.

Very enjoyable

The host was very helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. Truly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be darker blinds in the main bedroom. The sun rises around 430am.

Great Place to Stay on a Budget

This was a great place to stay on a budget. Our travel plans changed at the last minute, and we found ourselves looking for a house on Cape Cod to rent. The two bedrooms and kitchen were perfect for our family, much more comfortable than a hotel room, and for a similar price. Highly recommend!

Perfect Home Base for the Cape!

The house well well stocked and centrally located to all the great beaches of the cape. It was the perfect home base for exploring the surrounding area. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

Was great for a quick weekend trip

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the property since we were there for a weekend wedding. But just having the extra room and a kitchen available for a quick breakfast made it easier for our family.

Vacation in Dennis Port

Had a good stay here for a week in late August. Property manager did a good job of communicating with us. Was just as described in the listing. Dog friendly and fenced in yard. Only complaint is my dog found an ant trap on the floor and started chewing on it… probably not a good idea to have these in a dog friendly rental. Otherwise everything was just as described and we had a nice week.

Great Cape Getaway for the week

Great location in Dennis Port. A short walk to mini golf, ice cream, and a delicious Mexican restaurant. Definitely walkable to the beach for adults but a little far younger kids. We bought the weekly Dennis Beach Parking pass and it was definitely worth it to come and go to all of the beaches. Michaela is a great host and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect size place for a family of 5 with young children.

Lovely Condo!

Just got back from a long weekend stay in Dennis Port. Originally our trip was supposed to be in May, but because of Covid, I had to switch dates a few times and Michaela was SO accommodating with the changes. The communication from booking to check out was very fast and smooth. The location is great and the condo was roomy enough for my friend and me. With 60 degree weather in November, we really enjoyed the outdoor seating at The Oyster Company (Dennis Port). We also got a to-go quart of chowder from The Brewster Inn & Chowder House, our favorite!

Great townhouse close to beach

Close to a small beach and not a bad drive to the larger National Seashore ones. Very peaceful, the backyard is perfect for a meal on the deck while our dog could be with us. Michaela is a very helpful host. Would stay again!
