“I booked a superior room for 2 nights with my wife. We arrived about 2.30pm and the room wasn’t ready. There was some confusion from the front desk about our later dinner reservation, the receptionist stated I didn’t have a booking and despite my assertions she didn’t really seem to believe that I had booked it months ago. “I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly.
