“Down a quiet lane but walkable to the Monet mise and house and gardens. Staff was helpful and friendly and room was very comfortable and clean. Great Giverny experience.”

“Our hosts, the owners of the property, Philippe and Francois, were excellent. The property has a main home designed after George Washington’s Mount Vernon home. There are a number of cottages also, as well as a horse stable where the owners keep their horses which they train, on the property, for equestrian events. The property is a 15 minute drive from Giverny and Monet’s house and gardens. An excellent stay to couple with that visit. We hope to return some day!”

“If you are looking for quiet luxury, a picturesque setting, and proximity to a forest trail with access to the Seine, then look no further than this spot in the valley. The host is fluent in 3 languages, the room is perfectly appointed, and the pool and lounge areas are a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was perfectly simple French Village style, and enjoyed best on the patio. If you want to avoid the over priced B and Bs of Giverney, or the cookie cutter hotels of Vernon, this is the place...

“Terrible hotel. This was the worst place I stayed at in France. The room had a horrible sewage-like smell that seemed to be coming from the ventilation. The towels were old, worn out, and unpleasant to use. When I tried to take a shower, there was only cold water. I went to reception, and after checking, the receptionist told me everything was fine. “What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. “Appartement correct bien situé mais sans aucune vue dégagée dommage. Par contre, au niveau vaisselle, il y a peu de couverts, pas de casseroles et le four est sale. Le lave vaisselle n'est pas très efficace. Il n'y a pas 6 chaises alors qu'on peut y dormir à 6. Pour un séjour d'un WE, c'est pas terrible. On s'est adapté.”
