“La struttura è certamente bellissima e ben tenuta e poi si trova davvero a 2 passi dall'ingresso del parco di Semuc Champey. Il ristorante è un po' caro, ma le porzioni sono abbondanti e il cibo molto buono. Il personale è un po' disattento: abbiamo chiesto per 3 giorni di fila gli asciugami e non ce li hanno mai portati! Ma la cosa che più non c'è piaciuta è stata la festa organizzata tutte le sere fino alle 22.00/23.00: ci aspettavamo un ritiro immersi nella natura, dove ascoltare i suoni...

“Excelente hotel para ir en familia, muy acogedor y muy amable el personal. Nos recibió Manuel, el día que llegamos super tarde, y nos esperaba para acomodarnos, sabía muy bien que íbamos con una niña pequeña, así que un muy buen recibimiento. Los dormitorios muy bien aseados y se notaba que estaban bien fumigados, sin insectos ni nada, a pesar de estar en la selva, las comidas del restaurante muy buenas en relación calidad y precio. Muy acogedor el entorno y entretenido para andar con niños.”

“Great few days spent here! I recommend staying 2-3 nights... depending on when you arrive, because I highly recommend Semuc Champey and the bat caves (Grutas de Lanquin) which are hard to do in the same day. El Retiro made meals and excursions very worry-free. My only negatives would be the lack of hot water and the cleanliness of the bed, room. It wasn’t very dirty... just wasn’t very clean. Overall a very enjoyable few days spent in Lanquin.”
