“This was the best resort I’ve stayed in. There were multiple beautiful pools designed to ensure you always had space to yourself. The food was also incredible. We are vegetarian and sometimes are left with minimal options, but there were always plenty of options. The room was also spacious and luxurious. Didn’t want to leave! The staff were also fabulous - made the experience so enjoyable.”

“Our room is always clean, housekeeping is done everyday. We had a nice view from our balcony overlooking the beach. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options and even the a la carte food is delicious. All the staff are very accommodating, respectful and very helpful. Overall, our stay at Best Western Plus was an awesome experience. 5 stars all the way.”

“Our stay in Amarela Resort turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Bohol. The whole place is ART. The attention to detail was astounding! The staff were all warm, friendly, and helpful. If you ever plan to stay in Amarela resort, please take the time to walk the grounds -- they have an art gallery, beautiful walkways, a library, a massage hut, a garden, an infinity pool, a magnificent view of the sunrise, etc. The surrounding area is peaceful. “Ok, this property is not a resort, just a few rooms behind the bar. I liked it due to location, right on Alona beach, within steps of multiple dive shops, restaurants and suri suri next door. Room was clean, newly remodeled, beautiful bathroom, roomy with sink, mini fridge and hot plate. Pool looked ok, but never used it. Staff is the owners family, very attentive and helpful.
