“El Tigre is a beautiful place to stay. The service from Andrea, Randy and team was amazing…even though the location is remote, we had everything we needed thanks to their exemplary customer service. The hike to the waterfalls was incredible and we loved the villa. Great blend of activity and relaxation. Just a perfect long weekend in the Bamboo House with our daughter!”

“We stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless - the bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were all exceptionally clean and well-maintained. “Alexandra went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She made a fruit smoothie and coconut snack as a welcome treat. The Tico studio was very functional and fit the jungle environment. The bed was very comfortable and with the sound of the rain I fell asleep quickly and awoke refreshed. Honestly the best sleep and rest if the trip. Alexandra made empanadas and tea for breakfast. Totally unexpected as the description didn't indicate that breakfast was included.”

“Our family of 5, adult children, stayed for 6 nights. The pictures do not do the property justice. Absolutely stunning views of lake, mountain and volcano. One of the best supplied VRBOs I have ever stayed at. The pool was clean with a nice view. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided lots of recommendations for food and entertainment. Only down side was the rocky curvy road to get to property. Would highly recommend! ”

“This is a very good place to stay very relaxing and conform, the view is espectacular, staff are very friendly.”

“I stayed here for an overnight stop between La Fortuna and Monteverde, the hotel was better than I was expecting. Everything was great, a/c provided, was clean and comfortable and no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through. Tilarán is quite a sleepy little town, not a great deal going on there”
