“We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. “We were instantly made to feel welcome when checking in, everything was explained to us regarding the facilities the dining arrangements and the bars. Very friendly and polite staff too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“Room seemed ok, apart from the fact of being at 4th floor without lift... till I opened the window. Window was opening 4 cms only. Inner curtain , in the room, was full of dead moths and bugs, DISGUSTING. Basil was CRACKED and all ceiling corners full of soiders nets. DISGUSTING. Bed very old.”

“Looking quite tired now in some of the rooms and have had to report maintenance requirements in different on my last 3 stays. Change of policy to not offer breakfast as part of a package without any change in price is sneaky and wasn't communicated at booking.”

“Wonderful location and very kind staff. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which had a very poor signal, and the mobile network wasn’t much better. Unfortunately, this made it quite difficult to work.”
