“Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. “This hotel has the best view of the lake I have ever seen, I was in awe when I stepped out on my patio! I could have sat there for days! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The rooms and property are showing their age (a little), but the staff and the views are well worth going here.”

“I think the downside was, it was warm and a bit noisy at night as it was near the pub and people were dining outside where we could hear the loud chats and laughs. But, I love the ambience and view of the place. I definitely will come back to visit again. ”
