“Everything about this tiny house is thoughtfully planned with your comfort in mind, from the outdoor games to the farm fresh eggs, the surprisingly decent shower and just the all around tranquility of the space. I've stayed in a lot of cabins and yurts and cottages where the owners claim to care about their guests' experience but this is the only one that smashed it out of the park. Many thanks to these lovely folks for doing it right!”

“The instructions were not clear. We got in late. The instructions say at the top of the stairs but not where the stairs are. The host could not be reached at all. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep. The light in the stairway was out which made the stairs even more dangerous. Half the lights in there didn't even work. The paint is peeling off the walls and ceiling. The first day my son accidentally spilled his drink and after he cleaned it up, we got a wet paper towel to ensure the floor...

“This property worked well for a short stay in L'Anse. The overall feel is more "bachelor pad" than "Grandma's house." Furniture is comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe to us. The kitchen is generally well stocked, if a bit cramped for counter space.”

“The house is older and a little sad but it has a million dollar view. Two nice decks but no shade in the evening. Could use a few umbrellas only real complaint we had was the lack of any airflow downstairs. The room desperately needs a screen door or newer windows that open. If you have a group of friends or family it’s ideal. Senior citizens not so much the steps are a challenge, very steep.”

“The log constructed beds are interesting but a bit too bulky for the small cabin, making a bedside table not bedside but a couple feet away. No place for toiletries in bathroom and the shower floor was spongy. Not dealbreakers but improvements could be made. Everything else was very nice.”

“Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO. We did see two different folk, leave after being baffled (?) by QR code contact/ admittance. The little Cabin was immaculate. Lake was too windy to enjoy & we checked into late to fire up the...
