“Bed was comfortable. Room smelled stale (like old cigarette smoke). Otherwise, the room was clean and the restaurant attached to the hotel was convenient and served a decent breakfast. Entry stones were hard to navigate with luggage.”

“This property actually would have been great and received five stars from me except that the boilers were down and there was no heat in the room. I wouldn't have even minded that so much if the staff would have just admitted it. They did offer to move us to another room but the very same situation existed. Please just be upfront with guests. I understand things can go wrong with mechanicals in a building, just don't tell me something that isn't accurate.”

“Rooms and beds comfortable. Convenient location. Reasonably priced stay. One of 2 rooms we booked was not cleaned ahead of our arrival by housekeeping. Breakfast dining area very undersized.”

“this could be a very cute little place to stay if they updated the rooms. it was right in town, which could make it a popular place to stay. we had a room wirh a queen bed, but was actually a double. we are average to large people and were too cozy in that bed as we rolled into the middle. our room also had peeling paint on the walls and ceiling. I guess you get what you pay for.”

“Room was very clean and lovely. I realize we are close to the parking and lights are required for safely just wish I could dim them but that’s on me for not being able to sleep in the lighted room. Staff were exceptional. Above and beyond our expectations. Breakfast. One of the best I have ever had and loved the quaint room.”

“Great place to stay while waiting for ferry in North Sydney. Enjoyed the carpet free room and Chinese food was great in restaurant! Suggest having coffee in room for morning wake-up but appreciated the coffee from restaurant.”

“This home could be a museum it is so well furnished with interesting furniture and artifacts. The breakfast setting was like having high tea somewhere. And the owner is a charming woman. If you are going to be anywhere near the Sydney area try to make this your stop.”

“Clean and so quiet and peaceful”

“We did not have high expectations, however it was very similiar to staying in student housing. We had to clean many dishes before we used them. It is a run down house. The queen beds were comfortable. Burn Mark on the sheets.!The shower was clean. Overall we were not comfortable in the environment and wanted to leave as quickly as possible.”
