“We were able to get a meal inside dining area when arriving around 7:00 pm. Very good accommodation for price and enjoyed the simple but included breakfast. ”

“I love the little Courtyard with the barbecue and benches for guests to use. Management was super welcoming to myself and my service dog and everyone was very friendly. The room needs a little bit of work but I can tell it's in process. Light bulbs need to be checked. There was no coffee machine my second stay, but I didn't ask about that so I can't complain. Very clean and comfortable. ”

“Fantastic well appointed suites right on the water and right next to Louisbourg fortress. Very bright with lots of windows and amazing views. Owners and staff are helpful and feiendly and restaurants on site and nearby. Lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the view and sunshine. Overall room was clean but dusty blinds and window sills stood out to me in the sunlight.”

“Was very impressed with how clean the room was! Also very well maintained. Perfect place to stay on the way to ferry. Able to park car right out side the window so no worries about bring everything into room. Only 15$ surcharge for pet!”

“We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!”
