If you bring a boat and rent a slip, make sure to bring bumpers. The ones on the dock can be crooked or even the pads are missing. This isn't a real big deal but for $50 a day, I think someone could check them and straighten or replace. “This is a timeshare place that’s on breezy point property. We did not realize that. It was like a blast from the past! Very early 90s feeling style/furniture wise. There were some stains on the carpets, the towels are old, no toiletries provided, mis matched and lacking cookware, etc.It is definitely not where you want to stay if you want a modern place. “Checking in was a bit confusing as when you entered the building you would find a note telling you to call a number where you were instructed to look for a building wrapped in paper where you would check-in.. not very convenient. Was told it’s a non smoking building yet when you entered what appeared to be the former lobby, it smelled of smoke.. lack of security for the building as the former lobby door was never locked, anyone could enter the building. Had trouble getting Sufi after two trips...

“WAY overpriced ($300/night). “Breakfast” didn’t exist, coffee and fruit loops. “Transient” looking residents working on their car in the parking lot. They hang out drinking beer and smoking cigarettes in the East entrance area. Bath towels were old, stained and dingy. Opened a facecloth and found a long black hair. Hotel offered maid service every four days?!? We won’t return.”

“Rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable, everything you need. Restaurant has tasty food and friendly staff, an early breakfast option would be nice for those people who want a bite before going to work on the fish bite. Boat launch is usable but needs some work especially for loading boats.”
