“Holiday Inn Express here was very nice. As we entered there were fresh warm chocolate chip cookies at the reception desk. The people were friendly and very informative at the hotel. We had a very clean and comfortable room. We had a King suite, very large. Comfortable bed and a large bathroom. It is in a good location on the main street of Tulahoma, Tn. Would highly recommended this hotel.”

“I had an issue with the TV and the attendant fixed it right away... very cordial.”

“Very clean and comfortable.”

“The staff was friendly and useful in local locations. Breakfast had a wide variety of food options. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.”

“The room was very spacious, I loved the vintage looking shower. Water pressure was good and hot water was consistent. Didn't find an ice machine but that is all I was missing because the sweet old man who I think owns it made sure we were taken care of!!! He even brought us a microwave. It was the perfect price and distance to retreat away from working bonnaroo in Manchester”

“An old farmhouse environment decorated in Cracker Barrel decor. You can spend hours looking at the memorabilia. Nice front porch area. When they say pet friendly, they mean it. Even have a food and water bowl for your fur babies. Nice quiet area.”

“I was in town visiting my son at Sewanee do I needed something close to campus and small. This was perfect, less than 10 min away from campus and had everything I could need. From a washer dryer to a considerate assortment of charging cables. I will be visiting Sewanee many times over the next 4 years and I will keep this place in mind for all future visits. Thanks Emily.”

“Host is always amazing, great communication and very flexible, the cabin is as cute as can be- very, very clean, which is our #1 criteria when staying anywhere. It’s a little diamond in the rough for sure :)”

“We really enjoyed staying at the Franklin House! It was comfortable, room was private, breakfast was very fresh and delicious, and Rachel was an excellent host.Cowan is a quiet railroad town - the railroad museum was very nice; John gave us an excellent tour. We enjoyed exploring both Sewanee and Winchester nearby. All in all, a relaxing, comfortable weekend visit - Thanks Rachel!”

“This was a trip with my 2 granddaughters. The house was great! Plenty of room for all of us. It was raining, so we didn't use the outside accommodations. But they looked great. Huge backyard! My only thing wrong was there were not enough kitchen ware (cookie sheet, strainer, mixing bowls). But no big deal. We made do. Overall, loved the property! Will use it again.”

“The host was very friendly and responsive! Clean house, Air conditioning thermostat was confusing but all in all it was adequate!”
