“Comfortable bed!! Quiet place. Able to darken room fully! Old-school tub with real tile. Cute metal tea/coffee pot. Polite staff. What more can you ask from a 2-star hotel? They even have laundry facilities available. Halls and room a little musty, but running the a/c cleared the smell. Pool appeared a bit on the murky side, despite a chlorine-tablet floatie bobbing around. We did not attend the complimentary breakfast, but there was a waffle maker, yogurt, juice, etc. available. “The renovations were great. Place was spotless and you could tell brand new. Would definitely stay there again. Convenient to the town. Only complaint is there should be a rubber mat or grab bar in the shower as it was a little slippery. Other than that - beautiful place!”

“Honestly the stay was perfectly fine. The staff member who checked us in was very nice and knowledgeable. It was very quick to get our room. Our only complaint is that the bed was rock solid. Otherwise, everything was exactly what we expected and it was perfect for quick overnight stay. ”

“Exactly what is needed for a little get away! Such a cute cottage, wonderful outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub. Short walk to the most beautiful beach I have seen in Port Austin with a wonderful sunset view. Host was kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend this little get away! :)”

“We were in Port Austin for a wedding this weekend. Martha was a wonderful hostess, very kind and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a couple to stay also not bad with another couple that doesn’t mind a futon!! Two dogs, Blu and Scoobie bark a lot but are very friendly and super cute. Within walking distance to the farmer’s market, beach and bars/restraunts. Great location.”

“Kim and Aaron have an adorable little place that is conveniently located. We stayed for a long weekend, to spend time on our boat and the house is close to the marina, making it a perfect location for what we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet. Deer wander through the yard daily. It is conveniently located close to the grocery store and several restaurants in the nearby town center.
