“The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious. Water pressure and temperature was great. Mattress was comfortable but the bed platform made a loud metal rumbling noise every time we got out of bed, not great for light sleepers. Check in took a long time because they had a new system that the night clerk hadn’t been trained on very well. We also had a misunderstanding about the fact that I was renting it on behalf of family friends who are missionaries and were coming to my wedding from out of town. “Wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (one thing I would suggest is a new can opener the one there does not work well). Beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating (we locked the keys in the house and she responded to us right away). Would stay there again. Went to pocosin nature preserve to photograph the tundra swans. Drove to pea island for more photography. Excellent trip.”
