They went to extraordinary lengths to return my checkbook to me. This will be a place we will always stay when in Crawfordsville. Kudos to them all.”

“I booked the room for my husband & son who were going to the zoo Tues. morning. The car broke down, stranding them on the road. I contacted the hotel to see if we could get our fee waived due to circumstance (can provide proof of breakdown). They said only Expedia could waive fee. Expedia said it was up to hotel & they spoke to hotel & said I'd get an email. So far, the only email from Hampton is this. "How was your stay?" Well, I really DIDN'T enjoy paying over a hundred and eighty five...

“Clean rooms, nice breakfast in the morning!”

“Very clean and neat. But there were no amenities. Breakfast was lean. The orange juice was extremely watered down. The coffee tasted burnt. Lighting in the room was inadequate. No hook to hang cloths. Empty closet in a dark room. No free shampoo or conditioner. No coffee offered after breakfast hours. This was as barebones as you can get. The desk clerks were awesome. The cleaning staff was friendly and efficient. The owners seemed aloof and not friendly.”

“We absolutely loved having brown stains on our ceiling, mattresses and sheets. The toilet didn’t flush properly, had to beg for towels and toilet paper. Sheets didn’t fit the bed and we had to constantly pull them back on. Beds way too small. Room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. It was a dismal experience.”

“Nice cute clean apartment. We didn’t have any issues with the street parking, the furthest we had to park was about 4 cars away. Great water pressure! Will definitely book again when in the area.”

“Excellent overall. Walking distance to the college and Lew Wallace study. Lots of history on the property alone to explore. Street parking only. My only complaint is that the windows are single pane glass and allow in a fair amount of ambient nose. ”

“We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting family and friends. It is a really cute, urban chic space. It has a fantastic kitchen island that was perfect for entertaining while cooking. It’s conveniently located and I would definitely recommend this place for a future stay.”
