“I only stayed one night. The building is older but well maintained. The hotel is small and does not have any amenities. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door is associated with a golf course and does serve food but the morning I left they were apparently having staffing issues with the restaurant and could not serve any food as advertised.”

“The property was everything we could have hoped for. Communication was excellent and the host was very responsive. The house was very clean, family-friendly, and close to everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying at the Hungry Mosquito!”

“Good for a hunting lodge, Could use more kitchen supplies/utensils/plates/bowls. Some were still dirty. Overall it worked very well for use other than that. Fire place was great to have. ”

“Great stay at the Hungry Mosquito Lodge! This was a perfect home base for a weekend reunion in the area. Everything was well thought out and we enjoyed our stay! Definitely would recommend as a comfortable place to stay with a small group. The Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. There was information available all the local spots!”

“It was fine for a hunting trip with my boys, my wife would not have stayed there if she had come with us. The kitchenette was not stocked at all. very little silverware plates or cups. Hotel must be on a well, because the sulfur smell in the water is horrible.”
