“We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%”

“Quick trip for our anniversary. What a great property,clean and EVERYTHING thought out in great detail.Great location and super quiet.Thanks . The only negative thing was the hot tub cover (water logged ) for a small cover its not very easy to put back on the tub.”

“Host is very friendly and communicative. Property and cottage are great. Very relaxing but at the same time there is lots to do nearby. Make sure to initiate conversations with the locals as they are some of the nicest, funniest and warmest people you will ever meet.”

“This place was amazing, my wife made arrangements without me knowing and they had it decorated for my birthday with even a birthday cake waiting for me. It was quite the surprise, and they did an awesome job. They had everything and more available for you to use. ”

“Secluded with water access. Great for kayaking and canoeing and ability to have a camp fire. Loads of wildlife, cranes, woodpeckers, rabbits, grouse and eagles. The perfect camping experience with the luxury of a comfortable bed and a functional kitchen. ”

“Nous avons apprécié nous retrouver en nature dans ce lieu si calme avec une vue magnifique et de beaux couchers de soleil. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et même quelques aliments pour dépanner le premier soir si on a oublié d'arrêter à l'épicerie. Il faut bien sûr un véhicule à quatre roues motrices pour monter la côte et il peut arriver que le wifi ne soit pas accessible mais ça ne dure pas longtemps.”

“lovely pool and play area for families. we rented a cottage which had a mini kitchen so very handy for making a meal. in room coffee machine, microwave, fridge, stove etc. lovely view from windows looking out at the water. very quiet and well maintained property.”

“Beautiful cozy ”

“This was the perfect stay for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The dining room was perfect for eating together, or board games. With the patio entrance at the end of the table it offered a refreshing breeze and a beautiful view. The owner was wonderful at offering suggestions of things to do, and local events happening in the area. The beach near the property was lovely for cooling off, watching the sea life, and looking for sea glass. The community was super friendly and welcoming, and all of...
