Everything in the room worked and thoughtfully designed, except the "master switch" for the lights that needs to be on for anything else to work, but it turns ALL the lights on! “I very much wanted to love this place. It is obvious this used to be an elegant place in the past. Certainly all the people were great and as accommadating as could be. I appreciate that the property is undergoing extensive remoldeling. This is going to require millions of dollars. “Brilliant hotel to stay close to hi-tech city and Jubliee Hilla in Hyderabad. Hotel has plenty of greenery which attracts mosquitoes, staff tries hard but we must protect ourselves with strong mosquitoe repellents. We loved our stay at Daspalla and will come back again!”

Kettle doesn't work, coffee, milk powder not refilled. AC and duct not functioning well, no cooling, smoke smell in the room, suffocating. Wrong / double billing for laundry. Bad laundry service. Clothes weren't cleaned well and ironed. In total a bad experience.”

“This is regarding 5th floor. Conditions of toilets are terrific. Paint is peeled off on some places. Bath water is not good found some mud flowing through tap, not sure when was last tanks cleaned. Sofa conditions were poor. No toilet door mats / Tap water leaking/ muddy smell all over. ”

“Great hotel with a great history. I know it for the last 37 years. Stayed there multiple times. Had been a very regular eater at their restaurant - the best pure-veg restaurant around/in Abids. Perfect place for family get-togethers, stays and parties. Very good lodging for travellers coming with families..... Some may find the menu items a bit costly.... But, worth every rupee you pay. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.”
