“Very cozy place to stay. The owners have clearly been operating for quite awhile and know how to make sure guests have everything they'll need up front (check-in access, wifi, washrooms, bedding etc.)Was straight forward and exactly what I expected. The hot water in the communal shower was marked as not working which wasn't a big deal for us since we were just doing a short stay but for a longer stay that'd probably be a consideration.”

“Staying in a cottage on a lake was a real treat compared to the usual highway hotels and motels. A nice deck for happy hour and there is a full kitchen and it was so nice to have a real oven to cook our take-and-bake pizza. We had trouble connecting to WiFi but the friendly host helped us out. The only complaint I have is that the shower head is mounted too high and cannot be adjusted. ”

“We were really grateful that the owner, Ed does single night rentals; although we would have loved to stay longer. Also, it is off grid, but with solar power. Biggest thing we were concerned about was my husband’s CPAP machine having enough power. There was no issues at all!! Quiet, remote and picturesque! ”
