“I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.”

The staff were friendly and helpful - my wife thought she had lost a small bag containing 2 keys and the lady on reception went out of her way to look for them - in the event my wife found them at home. The hotel has an excellent position, close to the castle and the cathedral. ”

“A really good back street pub, with a choice of local ales (Bateman's among others) decent music, nice beer garden/courtyard for Spring and Summer months and a generally, good vibe. The landlady was extremely friendly and accommodating - no problems checking in a little earlier. Parking permit provided too. Think it was ensuite - large bathroom adjacent to our room. “Access worked well via code communicated via email. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Small bathroom with nice rainfall shower. Location was ideal sitting at the bottom of Steep Hill between shops and historic Lincoln (castle/cathedral). ”

“Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. “Lovely hotel situated close to castle and Cathedral. Many pubs and restaurants close by. All staff we interacted with were delightful. Room was clean with very comfortable bed. Breakfast also good, cooked to order. ”

“Gary and Nicola we very welcoming We had a most enjoyable stay.The house is new and well equipped it is warm and comfortable the sofa could be a little bit more comfortable but we were not there a lot. The beds were comfortable The garden was secure and well maintained for our little dog the house is warm and has a large drive it is a 20 min walk into Lincoln on the flat.
