“This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. ”

“This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are a little dated by current standards but the view and the staff make up for that. The dining experience was great and the hostess was so helpful and genuine. The food was excellent. We when on the morning cruise with departed from the lakefront of the hotel. The hotel provides a breakfast bento to eat while you cruise. So happy we stayed here. ”
