“Japanese style hotel but not exactly a Ryokan. Friendly and welcoming staff. A little bit expensive. Needing update.”

“Everything was great, bicycle rental, bus station taxi, breakfast, etc.”

“While cabin room is nice and the in-room shabu shabu dinner and in-room breakfast were very good, the whole stage was stolen by the fact the hotel charged me a cancellation fee for a canoe on the lake activity that I decided to cancel due to raining. All they could say is that is the hotel policy to apply an activity cancellation fee if I don’t cancel by 6 AM. They surely showed me some paper that I signed at check in that says so, but they didn’t do their best to make sure I was aware of this...

“Great service, really nice room. Strong amenities.”

“I originally booked a no view room but I cancelled it for a lake view room and it was worth it. I also booked it without dinner or breakfast because I was unsure weather my parents would appreciate it, but it was still worth it even without the meals. I originally booked this inn because it offered onsen and a really comfortable transfer from the station to the hotel, saved us the trouble of walking around with the luggage. The view was really beautiful, and the room really clean. I really liked...

“All the staff were really nice and friendly, but especially the young lady serving us our dinner, as well as, the gentleman (who learnt his English in NZ:)) at at the reception. Lovely views over the lake. We have also enjoyed the dinner served in our room. I would only say that the hotel is quite dated and has musty smell throughout. Still was great to experience traditional Japanese hospitality.”

“Good room, nice 1/2 tub. One small pillow and one half a small pillow on bed. Asked for more, no issue. Cubicle style bathroom, large step up to enter it, did smell musty. Way out from downtown , like 25 mins to train station.”

“It was a pity we stayed for just one night, so we couldn't make use of all the services the structure offers. The location is great and the staff is very kind and friendly. The room and the bathroom are very nice and clean.”

Camere molto grandi , colazione molto buona . ”
