“Ray is a helpful person. The unit is actually better than the online photos. The fridge is a fridge freezer now and the microwave sits on top of it. There's a nice breakfast bar opposite the kitchen bench and 2 sofas in the lounge. It's a short walk to the shops and wharf. The unit is private and well supplied, for example, we needed scissors and found some in the unit. There are plenty of plates and cutlery. There is a selection of cereals, tea and coffee, and 2 moccona ( I think) coffee...

“Nice accommodations and we enjoyed the fresh eggs and toast.It was close to the highway so was pretty loud from the cars passing. We were able to sleep well with earplugs however.Would stay again.”

“The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! “This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay.”

“Aotea Harbour was a amazing spot to get awsy for a few days. Friendly community, our dogs loved the run on the beach. Will definitely revisit.”
