“Lovely host, very communicative. Had everything we needed and was a nice location by the ocean. The bach itself however was quite run down and had a lot of mold in the bathroom and a lot of flies. It felt like the host was living there and just left before we arrived. Alot of there stuff was still in the bach which was a bit awkward as we didn’t have any room to put our clothes etc. It didn’t feel very clean.”

“Absolutely stunning views of Mt. Taranaki! Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Basecamp. Great communication with host, very clean and had everything we needed. Our boys loved the basketball hoop and game garage. Easy check in and check out. 12 mins from gorgeous hiking trails.Everything was as pictured, but even more stunning in person. Thank you for such a warm welcome and comfortable stay! 10 out of 10!!”

“We had a fantastic couple of night's stay in Ōpunake at this cute bach. Its proximity to town meant it was super easy to park up and simply stroll. (Always a good idea if having a few drinks at the distillery!) Despite the crispness in the air, the house was kept cosy and warm by the gas fireplace in the lounge. And the view of the maunga from the street... well I guess we were lucky enough to see it in all its glory. We would not hesitate in staying again if coming up to Taranaki.”
