As this is a Farm, its a very quiet place to stay and its suitable for a couple who have a love for animals, as there are two awesome resident pet dogs that love lots of attention! Overall found it was good value for a 2 night stay and it was lovely getting to know our hosts.”

“The view was so lovely ! very quiet relaxing place to stay, and just wonderful to have linen provided. Truly was so tidy and clean when we got there ! Managed to get out and explore the Caves further down at Waverly Beach (just turn right out gate) and drive 2 mins - but you must wait until the tide goes out to explore. Beautiful beach you feel like your at the end of the world.”

“Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.”
