“Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency. Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not...

“Disappointed in the pool. I would expect the indoor pool would be heated and it wasn’t. When trying to contact the front desk from our room, twice, no one answered and even trying the managers office, an option on the phone, there was no answer and the mail box was full. ”

“Staff are very friendly! The location is walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The continental breakfast was fresh and hot. The room was very clean. The only negative was the carpet. I stayed there before and the bottom floor rooms didn’t have carpets so much nicer. The top floor needs some upgrades otherwise it’s a great place to stay.”
