“The hotel is nice even a little bit old, but we'll maintained. The services provided are great and respect the Shangri La high standards. The personnel is well trained a d good English speaking, included the drivers. All staff very kind and smiling.”

“the hotel is very new, well mantained, and the room was pretty big and also the bathroom with shower and bath tube. The breakfast offers you a wide range of choice from eastern to western style, but the waiters do not speak english. The gym is nice, but the SPA and Pool area is not at Shangri-la level. A bit far from Guilin center, 10 minutes by taxi. The room price was ok, whort it, also during the peak season chinese festivity days. extra services a bit expensive.”

“The staff go way beyond the ordinary to make sure your stay is the best possible. I really have to commend the staff in every way. For one, when you check out, they intentionally time a quick check of your room to make sure you didn’t forget anything. If you did, they call within minutes of your checkout to let you know. The staff also prepare meals if you have received a free breakfast. Meals are awesome and filling. There are a number of breakfast menus to choose from and you can add items at...

“The property was beautiful and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure you were happy and comfortable. A vibrant night market was about a 30-minute walk away, which we visited each evening. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed the little strolls we had around the hotel property with the little animals (peacocks are a bit noisy to be fair). Our reservation includes 1 hour river rafting which was quite scenic and also saved us the trouble of having to get the tickets separately outside. The hotel itself though is a bit far from the town centre. We weren't able to make use of the free shuttle due to schedule conflicts but it was quite convenient to call a taxi to get into town.”
