“This is a beautiful but very old hotel . The lobby and common areas are nice but the rooms are worn and could use some updating.”

“A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, overlooking the golf course. There's an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. (Just one gripe; there was only one biscuit provided... in a room for two? We stayed for two nights and on both days only one biscuit was provided...strange, but true). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. The view is spectacular and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It’s easy access to motorways, but feels miles away. Yvonne was a responsive, gracious host.
