Hotel romantici a Lancaster

“Had a lovely time at April Cottage in Settle”

“A wonderful cottage in a glorious location. We were very comfortable and the cottage made a superb base to explore the gorgeous countryside. There is so much to see and a lovely cottage to return to at the end of the day made it perfect.”

“Loved this quaint cottage tucked away from hustle and bustle. Ideal for our short stay and plenty to do and see close by. Lovely walks for the dog. Town of Ulverston has lots to see and plenty of history. Beach at Roadhead was very quiet amd sunset beautiful. Ideal location to see other parts of the lakes. Travelled by train from Haverthwaite upto Windermere.”

“We had a lovely stay in the White Cottage. We found parking easy on the nearby (free) carpark and was a central location. The kitchen had everything we could of needed and more. All areas were lovely and clean and we found the beds very comfy. There was attention to detail in every room. We found the starter pack for the fire very useful and wood was available from nearby shops. We would definitely return, it is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding areas.”

“Charming 3-level cottage with very cosy tv-lounge on lowest level. Street-level entry is to the kitchen area and main bathroom and 2 bedrooms are upstairs. Freshly decorated and clean. Bigger cars will struggle navigating the tiny lanes to park outside the property; that said, a rather large builder's van working across the road had no trouble. Overall, very good.”

“Excellent property, good base for exploring nearby towns and nature reserves. Hot tub and views are great.”

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...
