“I had a wonderful 2 nights at blue zebra and wished I could have stayed longer. I was slightly concerned on booking about getting there as there wasn't much info on the website, but as soon as I confirmed my booking with ebookers the hotel was in touch to tel me everything I needed - including details on drivers from Lilongwe and how I could book a boat time to suit my arrival (at an extra cost which was very clear and totally worth it for an extra night). “PLEASE go elsewhere if you have the choice. Poor room service, the restaurant does not have a good decent menu. However, the people working at the hotel are kind and try their best with the limited tools and training they have been empowered with.There is no shuttle service attached to the hotel. You need to make personal arrangements or pay for a taxi.”

“The staff are all very nice and helpful. They were in the process of remodeling a wing so clean was a challenge. Then their hoover was broken so the poor staff were sweeping rugs using s dust broom. I really look forward to the new mattresses they promise in the superior rooms as they just installed in the standard rooms. Breakfast is eggs your way then dinner type savories. “I found Game Haven Lodge to be a very peaceful place. Even when the weather is hot, there is a lovely breeze about the the place. The location was convenient for me to explore Blantyre, Bvumbwe, Thyolo, Mulanje & Likhubula. Loved the game Drive. Weekends can be busy with locals which means you may have to wait longer for meals. ”
