Cerca hotel in Medadumbara

“Wow what an experience it was to stay here! It is so off the beaten track that you need collecting by the hotel staff in a very heavy duty jeep because a normal car stands no chance of getting there. It is the most peaceful place I have ever been with the most amazing views of the mountains. I will say it is so remote that you can’t just pop out for lunch etc so make sure you’re prepared with things to keep you entertained for your stay. The food was all incredible and the staff were some of...

“Excellent service all the staff was so nice. My room was very nice and the view of the mountains from my terrace was beautiful. The food was also very good. ”

“Nice serene environment.”

“De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Geen kitranden, losse wandcontactdozen, losse deurslot. Het bad werd niet warm genoeg. We hebben bijgevuld met de waterkoker. Het diner was een...

“Lovely location, friendly staff , great walks Be aware there are limited hours for electricity; more a camping experience than glamping ! ”

“I booked this property beacuse it had good reviews, however to my disappointment it wasnt the case. However the the staff seemed to be very unprofessional The front office didnt have any extra multiplug to give us ) It took 2-3 attempts to get water bottles to our room The restaurant staff are just ridiculous. No quality at all. The waiter who came to our table was reluctant to serve us and even was hesitant to bring us the ala carte menu. (They had a set menu and ala carte option) as a...

“The Glass House is possibly the best accommodation and service we have experienced in over 40 years of exploring this wonderful country. The house design and location are breathtaking. The views are spectacular (make sure you are up for dawn). On site Chef Kevin made traditional Sri Lankan meals of exceptional quality. Kapilo was there ready for any of our needs without being intrusive. Milan and Chandra keep the house and gardens running and in beautiful order. Can I say more ? If you don’t...
