“So much opportunity to be better”

“Easy check in. Nice room and easy walk to town. Centrally located to experience the historic locations around the town.”

“Clean and tidy accommodation in a great location”

“Great stay, very historic”

“The cottage has a cosy, historical ambiance, set in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pub, within walking distance was fantastic too. Our hosts and the locals are warm and friendly. ”

“Insufficient heating for winter stays”

“A nice quirky and comfortable home for our 3 night stay. Well presented and all the amenities we required. Two bathrooms and air conditioners in both bedrooms were the main selling points. Two suggested improvements:Put suit case racks in both bedrooms. Replace the very wobbly dining chairs - they’re getting to be dangerous.”

“Loved Cartapo Cottage. Proper quiet, surrounded by gums, galahs, and open land. The night sky was unreal — completely dark and full of stars.Clean, comfortable, and everything was easy. Chloe & Oliver were genuinely warm and welcoming too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape! ”

“Unbelievable spot, great value for money. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend away this is the spot. Everything was perfect on arrival and would definitely stay again!”

“We had a wonderful stay for two nights with friends. The house was spotless and everything was in perfect condition. The beds were very comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. We especially loved the pizza oven and the fireplace, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was easy and friendly from start to finish. We would highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!”

“The Railway station B&B was an enjoyable relaxing place to stay. It had everything we needed to come and go as we pleased. Lovely and clean. Would happily recommend to anyone wanted to visit Burra.”

“Well equiped, heating on when we arrived, full of character and comfortable.”

“This property was exceptionally clean including all crockery and cutlery. It had the charm of a heritage building combined with the basic elements to make our stay a pleasant one. One bathroom with toilet within may be a consideration for some. The grounds are lovely with a great bbq entertaining area that would be excellent in the warmer months. ”
