“The Beach was beautiful and ocean views fabulous! We also enjoyed the pool area which was well kept. Overall the service and staff need improvement. Restaurant and bar service was slow and spotty and the staff was new and often not helpful. We ordered dinner outside and waited for an hour only to find out they were out of most of what was ordered. Had to retrieve linens and towels as they were not available in the room. “The staff were friendly, efficient and responded quickly to any issues. The pool was amazing, very clean as was the hot tub. My complaint is with the entry/exit doors on the North building. Between the wind and occupants not closing the doors gently, all you heard up until midnight was the slamming of those doors. It was very loud and kept us up most of the night. We reserved 2 rooms for our party of 4, thinking they would be next to each other but that was not the case. One room only had...

“This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you.”
