“I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)”

“This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. The parking was easy in the Hotels car park and the garden was incredible to walk around & so well looked after. The hotel also boasts a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and gym. We loved the jacuzzi. With Minehead beach literally a 2 minute walk as well as the main High Street just a stones throw away it was so convienent and nice not to have to drive...

“Property was clean and cosy and area around property was well kept. Only criticism would be seeing all the graffiti in the children’s golf area which was directly outside the property window”

“Our stay was lovely, relaxing and peaceful. The two rooms we booked were warm and spacious. The kids loved having access to the castle to walk around as well as the tennis courts. The owners were always happy to engage with our children and share their knowledge of the area.”

“We went midweek in july 2025. Plenty of on street parking, with a blue badge is free. Nice shopping street, a stones throw from the sea front and beach and the station. For steam trains. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points.
