“Walking distance from the village of Wakefield, yet it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. The staff were friendly and 100% bilingual. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The restaurant food was great and the sound of falls in background created a nice ambiance. The wooden exteriors of the building are starting to show their age, but that was the only negative I can think of. We will return.”

“Clean the hallways, lots of debris scattered. Found multiple hair on pillows and on the box spring. Need cleaning is needed in the room, very dusty around windows and behind the bed.”

“The hotel was in a convenient location with respect to commuting to Ottawa. However, the beds/pillows were not comfortable. We are on the first floor and the you can hear all the movement on the floor above. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the outdoor and indoor hallway sounds clearly. The sink did not drain properly and the bathroom was quite tight. The mini fridge was also extremely loud. We did not get a restful sleep and one of us had to participate in the 1/2 marathon the next day.”

“Overall a good stay and great value with They were a great value for the Tulip Festival and our room had a great view of the parliament buildings across the river. However, they were understaffed and our rollaway bed was not delivered until nearly midnight.”

“The location was great. Walking distance of a casino and restaurants. The pool water had a suspicious appearance and was not really warm. Long chairs were not available. The customer service desk was really helpfull and friendly. The room aménities were great and thé bed and sofa very confy. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back. We highly recommend this hôtel.”
