“the room was very clean.. the staff was weak at best;. they did not seem to care much about my stay.. the coffee maker in the room did not work. and it was explained away, not good.. the plug was so short that even if it did work, it had to be plugged in on the floor.. the sheets were awful. a queen was used on a king bed, the mattress was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable..there was coffee in the office and it was tepid at best. so much for coffee. the door was out of alignment and it...

“It is probably the most representative structure in Texas of living a true ranch experience. The people are exquisite and very welcoming. Conviviality is the word that best represents the place, they booked dinner for us at a table shared with other guests with whom they chatted pleasantly all evening. A unique place that was a pleasure to get to know.”

“This container stays was so unique, clean and fun. I like small places and this filled the bill.”

“clean, quiet location - small, but comfortable for our one night stay. host was very responsive to questions.”

“This is a very clean, comfortable, cute hotel on the outskirts of town. It is minimally decorated and very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and although you had to share bathrooms and showers with other guest they were clean and beautifully renovated. We appreciated the small basket of soaps and shampoos that were available in the room. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. Also thanks for suggesting Marfa’s Burritos for breakfast. ”

“Easy to communicate with host, she gave the layout of the town, and also gave great checking instructions. Rooms were very accommodating. Thanks for the hospitality! ”

“This is a really cute place. Worked well for our needs. It is right next to train tracks so bring your ear plugs. It was clean. Easy to get to. Would stay at again.”

“Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a great spot to come back to after exploring Marfa. The sunsets were incredible, the stars were unreal, and seeing the full moon out there was something else. The peace and quiet out here is hard to beat.Check-in was easy, communication was great, and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Marfa.”

“Can’t say enough good things about Terry’s home. It was absolutely perfect for our trip to Marfa. Such a unique property in a perfect location and absolutely perfect for our group of four. The beds were so comfortable and the space was more than adequate. We were bummed about the weather not cooperating for our trip to the observatory, but the clouds parted just enough for us to have a great night of stargazing right out back in the seating area. This will be our go-to place to stay for future...
