“We only stayed one night in the Trinity suite. It was accessible from the outside also as well as the inside. It was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. It has kind of an odd layout, but doable for one night but not for longer I feel. The breakfast at a communal table. The next morning was very nice, meeting like-minded travelers. I would recommend the Trinity suite for one night maybe two at most. However, everything was wonderful, just not a long-term lodging.”

“Everything we needed including generous surface parking in a great location. A historic property so a little noisier than newer hotels. The free drink offer doesn’t exist anymore but was issued a card for $20 off $50 spend at Jack Astors across the street.”

“The property is in a great location ~ walking distance to yummy restaurants & noteworthy sites! Accommodations were comfy, clean & well-appointed; our room was spacious & laid out nicely for travellers. Breakfast was perfect with lots of healthful options! Our host was wonderful with interesting stories, helpful suggestions & a high degree of professionalism! Our stay at the Balmoral made our first visit to St. John’s a highly memorable experience! Grateful!”

“Really nice old heritage house with unique rooms named after the original owners family. Walk to the Dildo Brewery. View the cove from your window. Excellent host Todd he will make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. All fresh food and homemade muffins. 2 thumbs 👍👍”
