“There were rooms were very clean and very nice. All the staff were amazing. They even grow their own food there. The breakfast is incredible and the pool is beautiful. They are very organized and there’s a lot going on there. It’s a wonderful location as well.”

“The place is a great option while in Nuku’alofa. Is one of the few places with active restaurant on a Sunday. If you have a Sunday stay, don’t think about it twice. The place is in good shape ànd the beds are king size ànd really comfortable. You can see à bit of the wear and tear over the years but nothing major. Perfect for a short stay while in town.”

“This was a last minute booking made when our preferred booking was cancelled, after being confirmed more than three months earlier, apparently due to overbooking??? “We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown.
