“This house should not be listed for rent. It needs a complete overhaul, is very poorly maintained and grungy. I arrived to garbage overflowing from the outside garbage cans onto the ground. The first night I could not breathe in the house due to dampness, mildrew and dog hair throughout the bedroom. When I went to open the windows, there were no screens. “Cozy, beautiful, very clean and loved the sunroom that offers snacks all day long. We loved our stay there. 10 minutes drive to Lake George touristic section and the lake. We will go back for sure!”

“I will say that overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The only negative is the property photos are a little confusing as it looks like the river is closer than it really is. The front and back porches were the places to hang out. The younger adults loved the massage chair. Hot water is plentiful for showers. Fun fact: the intersection nearby is crazy. Many close calls between cars. Seriously though it was everything that our family needed for this vacation. ”

“This property is not the best. The photo you have on your sight is far from reality. It looks like a huge yard in the back of the house and a river, it has a yard alright but its in front not more then ten feet crom the road, the kids 5 i had 3 of them could not go out to play because it was so lose to the road. “We really enjoyed our stay here! It was well-worth it, and there were many interesting places to check out nearby! (Make sure to go to the Lake George Mystery Spot, it's super odd.) It's the perfect spot for stargazing, you can see most of the sky without being impeded by trees or other mountains, and there's almost no light pollution. There were two of us staying here, and while you could technically fit more people, it would be a really tight squeeze, so I wouldn't recommend it. Great...

“Very confortable, plenty of outside space to enjoy the outdoors. Rustic and enjoyable, had a fun pool table room. It had two refrigerators which was very handy. We would definitely plan to come back to this place.”

“We had a great stay in Athol at this house/cabin. It was very clean and had a nice ADK feel. There was plenty of space for our big group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking at home. The host was communicative and it was easy to check in. I would recommend booking this home especially for a big group.”

“The house is very cozy and well located - close to restaurants, grocery, gas and about 20 min to Gore mountain. Furniture, fixtures, etc are a bit dated but overall was comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of towels, and host provided shampoo, soap etc which many rentals dont have.
